Timmy “TJ” Royal entered eternal peace on December 8, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. Timmy Joe Royal, 59, was born to Vassie and Earnest Royal on February 26, 1957 in Borger, Texas. TJ was the third born children to his parents. He was the brother to Jerry, Johnny, Earnest Ray (Tatty) and Shirley.
TJ graduated from Borger High School in 1974. After graduating from high school, TJ worked for Natural Gas Production Company in the oil field in Borger, Texas. After leaving the oil field, TJ enlisted in the United States Navy. TJ served in the Navy from 1976-1980. TJ’s job title while in the Navy was Quatermaster 3. TJ was also the Helmsman on USS Midway in Yokosuka, Japan, and he conducted the weather observations in Adak, Alaska. After leaving the Navy with an honorable discharge, TJ relocated to Dallas, Texas in 1980. TJ was a very kind and gentle soul; he was loving and had a generous heart. He was very giving to others and was loved by so many.
TJ is preceded in death by his parents, Vassie and Earnest; and brother Earnest Ray (Tatty).
He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his uncle, Ocie “Bubba” Chism; brothers, Jerry Royal (Clara) of San Diego, California, Johnny Royal of Amarillo, Texas; sister, Shirley Hood of Borger, Texas; special cousins, Don Edward, Marilyn Lee, Kathye Batts, Betty, and Vickie Harris, all of Dallas, Texas, and a host of nieces and nephews that were dear to his heart along with friends.
