William Lentfield Wright, was born August 19, 1942 in Itta Bena, Mississippi to the parentage of Alexander Wright and Nora Lee (Holiday) Wright, who both preceded him in death. Also, preceding him in death are his six brothers: James A. Garfield, Willie L. Garfield, Robert L. Garfield, George W. Rogers, King Hunter Jr., Andrew L. Wright. William Wright departed this life on March 7, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. William united and received his Christian experience with Parker Providence Baptist Church, Rosser, Texas at an early age under the leadership of Pastor O. F. Woods.

William attended public schools in Rosser, Texas.

William leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Danielle L. Wright, Dallas, Texas; three special nieces: Joyce McIntyre (Timothy), Red Oak, Texas; Marian Stephens (Freddie), Lawton, Oklahoma; and Goldie Rogers, Wichita, Kansas. Three special nephews: Larry Beasley, Rosser, Texas; George Burley Jr., Red Oak, Texas; and George L. Rogers, Wichita, Kansas. A host of other relatives, acquaintances, and friends.
Uncle William, God called you to Eternal Rest and we will miss you from here on this earth. “Go with God and rest eternally.”
