Willie Earl Jackson was born on July 23, 1957 to Leroy and Jeannette Jackson in McKinney, Texas.  He was the third of seven children. Willie was a member of the Throckmorton Street Church of Christ where he was baptized at an early age.  He graduated from McKinney High School in 1975. Willie married Sheila Smith on June 16, 2007.

Willie worked for Home Interiors for several years and later became a plant manager at Quadrant Chemical until his health required him to retire.  He had a passion for fishing, cooking, gardening, and watching westerns and sports.

Willie was loved by so many people and will be sorely missed.  While he battled many health issues, he always managed to keep a smile on his face.  He passed away peacefully on January 4, 2017.  Willie was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Jeannette Jackson, grandparents Artis and Bobbie Jackson and Samuel and Lillie Mae Henry, and sister Janet Faye Thornton.

Left behind to cherish many wonderful memories are his wife Sheila Jackson of McKinney; daughters Alicia Jackson and Kanisha Pearson of McKinney, Angela Richardson of Cleveland, Ohio, sons Will Jackson Jr and Jonathan Pearson of McKinney, and Maurio Smith of Dallas; grandchildren Jonathan, Destiny, Kenasia, and Elijah; brothers Paul Jackson and Leroy Jackson Jr. of McKinney; Anthony Jackson of  Arlington, Eldridge Jackson of Dallas, and Chevonne Robinson of  Plano.  He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
