May 21, 1974, God graced the world with the most astounding gift a family could ask for, and her name was Zarmette Lon’Shae Jones (Shae-Shae).  Zarmettte was born to Gay-Nell Jones and was reared by her grandmother Jessie Lee Jones, who proceeded her in death.  Zarmette was also proceeded in death by her brother, Howard Lacole Jones, grandfather, J Frank Jones, and her uncle, Autry L. Jones.

Zarmette accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized and received her early Christian education at David’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.  She was born in church…remained in church… She was currently a member of Gospel Tabernacle.  She loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart and her soul. She loved to sing and started singing before she could even form the words to the songs.  She was a member of Eddie Ray Clark Voices of Resurrection.  She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1992 and went on to attend Jarvis University.  She also graduated from Velma B’s Beauty Academy as a licensed Cosmetologist.

Zarmette was a loving wife. She was married to Edward Wright, Jr. She was also a loving and devoted mother to (3) wonderful children.  She leaves to mourn her death a large and loving family: (2) sons Zedric Mitchell and Evandre’ Wright, (1) daughter Zyleah Wright, (1) granddaughter Victoria Young, Mother Gay Nell Jones, mother-in-law Rita Wright, father-in-law Edward Wright, (3) Aunts Carolyn Rogers , Marsha Jones, and Janice Jones, (1) uncle Reginald Jones, brother-in-law Cortney Wright, sister-in-law Nora, (1) nephew Cheikiel Wright, and (1) niece Ashante Wright, and a host of many amazing relatives and friends.
